Hetalia Day Summary

So nobody's done this yet!
That's actually kinda surprising. But oh well. Tumblr is broken, so I have time.
Let's see...

• Italy overslept and arrived late, so Germany had to give him his proper shirt.
• Canada and America sparked a flame of love and passion between them (in which mild yaoi ensued).
• Russia had the "timid" down in "intimidating". 
• Poland briefly lost his breakfast.
• A cute lolita joined us.
• There was a small dance party salvaged from the failed music video. 
• Germany chased and captured males so other countries could do as they pleased with them. Which happened to be the Pony Game.
• Eyes were covered so as to not see Poland's manly panties, but Poland didn't climb the scary tower, then.
• Italy didn't climb the tower at all, and let out many manly shrieks when he attempted to.
• Canada and America rekindled their already hot flame.
• There was a wedding.
• So  the crowd of countries/people left. Well, almost left.
• Italy caught a butterfly.
• Then everybody left.
• Poland tried to lead.
• Italy tried to tie the lolita's boot, but to no avail, since Germany ties his shoes more often than not. ...Okay, always.
• Italy's curl was molested.
• Repeatedly.
• Russia was violated
• We squished into a car at MickeyD's for food
• Free fries!
• Many napkins were need
• Poland found Russia the PERFECT scarf 
• We fit too many people in the watcha-ma-call-it
• We took over the kiddie rides
• We took over the arcade
• The day dwindled to its end
• Italy won free ice cream

Oh, look. Tumblr works again.

Hetalia Day, 2011

Hello, everyone!
Our Hetalia Day meet-up will be:

• At Gregory Park in Brainerd, by the big fountain.

If the weather does not permit us to stay outside, we will be moving to The Shop. I don't know the directions, but if anyone arrives late and we are not at the fountain, look for Little Caesar's, the pizza place on Washington Street. Across the street and down the road, there will be a slightly inconspicuous place that probably has a lawn chair on the sidewalk. That's The Shop.

• On Saturday, October 22, 10am to 5pm.

You can come whenever and leave whenever. We're pretty loose about this. But if you have to leave early and are planning on saying lines in the music video, please let us know!!!!

• Awesome.

As you know, we will be making a music video. If you look at the previous posts, you will know that you do not have to be in it if you don't want to! Part of the day being awesome is having it be awesome for everyone. If you're uncomfortable, let us know, and we will do what we can to help! If you need band-aids, we will get them to you. If you are cold, someone may lend you their coat until we go somewhere warm.

But, okay, on that note, please bring all necessary items. Coats, hats, gloves, etc. This is Minnesota, after all.

If there are ANY QUESTIONS, please ask them before tomorrow! I will be on my computer for most of the day (ols, orz), and will refresh the blog every so often to check.

COME ON, GUYS.

Is Anyone Thinking of Coming as Spain? + Other Important Matters

The second line in High Five City includes Spanish, so I was thinking Spain could lip-sync it.
But if we don't have one, it's fine. I don't want to pressure anyone into being Spain for one line in the music video.
However, if you were planning on coming as Spain anyway, then that's great, and I hope you don't mind being in it. If you do, then we'll just deal. It's simply a whimsical thought that popped into my head.


ALSO, THIS IS DIRECTED TOWARD EVERYONE:
Who is planning to be in the music video?
Who is absolutely against being in it in any way, shape, or form?
Who doesn't want to be recorded directly, but is fine with being somewhere in the background, probably not very noticed?
Who wants to say lines?

• planning to be in the music video, we will put a P by your name
• against being in it in any way, shape, or form, we will put a X by your name
• okay with being in the background, but don't want to be directly recorded, we will put a C by your name
• up for saying lines, we will put a L by your name

So after you tell us, check the column to the left to make sure we've given you the correct letter.

You can have more than one letter! But that would only really make sense applied to P and L.

For example, if you have L, you will automatically have P, too.

But if you have P, you do NOT have to have L if you do not want to.

I hope that makes sense. Please don't be afraid to ask questions if it doesn't!

Yes, I am writing a script for the music video, but we don't have to follow it exactly. No dictatorships, here.

Okay I deleted that old post that wasn't necessary.

I suppose this can be an update page.
There's a little more than a month until Hetalia Day (yay~~!). I hope you guys have either started preparing or are going to start preparing soon. If you think you're ready and are in that "omg I can't wait" mode, then you're awesome.
See, I'm procrastinating. Bad, SL. Don't do that.


Anyway, onto the good stuff:
We're supposedly going to have an Indian Summer this year, so maybe that will extend to October. I'm kinda hoping so.
It would be absolutely wonderful to have a picnic.
For those of you who don't know, our picnic plans kind of died, last year. Which I doubt many of us minded, seeing how rainy and cold it was outside.


But these are the things we need to sort out:

• When the event will start and end
• Whether or not we want a picnic (and who's bringing what)
• Where our main meeting place will be
• Who's coming!!! (that's mostly directed to you lurkers)
• Anything else evading my mind

For Clarity

World Conference

So, as most of you know Citadel Games is closed, which means we cannot hold the World Conference there.

We'll need to pick out a new spot.

Our first option is the library, but you need an adult there. I know we have adult Hetalia fans that showed up last year.So, that shouldn't be a problem. The problem is that hetalia fans are to create a ruckus, with occasional STRONG language. Do we want that in a library????

Our second option is secretly gathering a bunch of lawn chairs in walmart and arranging them into a circle somewhere in walmart. I don't think walmart would mind because hey it's walmart, but if we get kicked out, we can just cross it off our bucket lists. It won't look as official if we do that.

Option three is The Shop, but they're closed on Saturdays and Sundays now, so unless they re-open before October 22nd, then that's out.

Option four, anyone?????

Who's Coming??

Since I just saw lemon1's post saying we shouldn't procrastinate and saw her very inspirational pep talk, I was inspired to create an early list of who's coming.

That way, I can start my list on the side I love to make (:

I'm coming (lemon3) hopefully as Greece.

If you want to, or are coming comment your name/code name below and who you'll be coming as or if you're just coming to have fun without a costume, then just tell us you're not cosplaying or something.

Okay, the list is officially started!

Also, Important: Hetalia Day 2011 will be on Monday, October 24th. It's extremely inconvenient to celebrate it on a Monday, so we'll do it on either the preceding or next Saturday, the 22nd or 29th.(which could easily be disguised as a Halloween party, for the people that don't tell their parents. but shh.)
